more sweetness here

My vocabulary

I have been trying hard to make the same sound as the people around me but when I do it, all I hear is how cute it is. There are so many things I want to say but now I have decided to take two syllables at  a time and signing along with that to communicate. Here is a peek into my dictionary so they we can talk the next time we meet.

kikki - I coined this term to tell when it hurts (boo boo) I taught this word to my parents and they love it so much that they use this all the time :)

ammA ammA - This is for addressing ammA but I use this interchangeably with apA.

apA apA - This is how I call my appA and at times anyone to get their attention. My parents keep correcting me when I use apA and ammA interchangeably. I do not understand the difference, I get attention I need anyway.

mee - Could be a fish or cat based on the context. I get excited when I see a cat. "mee" That's how cats sound right?

thee/kee - I shorten even the shortened form of a word. Why say "theethaa" when "thee" conveys that you need water?

mum - Saying "mum mum" for food is redundant, so I shortened it just "mum"

pAppa - pAdukA wanted me to call her akkA but I decided to call her pAppa (means baby :) She felt teased for a long time but now she responds to anyone calling/saying pAppa :)

achittaa means she beat me :) I say this when pAdukA troubles me. Even the little distress will make me complain "achittaa" :)

"paa" means milk. I say this and ammA gets excited and runs around me with glass of milk hoping I will drink it :) Does "paa" really mean milk or playtime ;)

thaachi - Means to lie down. I cannot resist saying thaachee whenever I see a soft and fluffy blanket. In fact I picked up a blanket in the shop and did not stop say "thaachee" and resting my head on it. In the end ammA bought it for me :)

"aaggee" -  say this and I will give you a warm hug and pat you with my little hands.

Here is a glimpse of the many complaints I communicate about pAdukA. She gets into trouble for it ;)
